A 70's Teen anthem comes to square dancing

Released in 1978, this song from Cheap Trick is a cult classic. It made Rolling Stones "Top 500 songs of All Time" list - it's kind of easy to see why. As soon as you start singing "Mommy's all right, Daddy's all right" watch your dancers lips join along. It's a song everyone knows.
We had to play a little with the "aways" to make it fit the square dance block, so give it a listen in the middle break and closer. Overall, it's pretty true to the original and we captured most of the iconic licks in the song. Hope you enjoy it. |
