Okay I admit it, I'm a Phil Collins fan. This is one of his most recognizable tunes and he claims it's the one that gets sung back at him in the streets more than any other song he has. He's sold over 150 million albums world-wide and is one of two recordings artists (the other being Paul McCartney) who have sold over 100 million records worldwide both as solo artists and separately as principal members of a band. (Phil's band being Genesis)
Sussudio was released in January 1985 and went to #1 on the Billboard charts in July of that same year. Let's hope it does the same on the TBT Charts as well. |
