I knew I had to do this one the first time I heard it. I love listening to this guy sing. And then I was listening to the words. At first I thought it was the usual, "I Believe in you" - like " you can do it" kind of stuff. But then I realized it's about believing in someone else. Taking your troubles, your past, your fears, and be willing to roll the dice again - because you believe so strongly in the other person. Far more than you believe in yourself.
It's a touching song, and it holds a special place on my list. Shelly is that inspiration to me and I hope you have someone you think about when you sing it too. |
